New Godzilla trailer

It's finally here! Godzilla has a new movie coming out may 16th of this year, and the new trailer has been released today. In case you don't know, this is my most anticipated film of this year. I'm a huge Godzilla fan, and this is VERY exciting! I am definitely going to see it on opening day. You can expect a review the day after, because there will be no way for me to process my thoughts after just getting back, then writing about it. With only about 3 months to go, the hype can only get higher.

The trailer itself tells us more than the first trailer, but still not telling us everything like others do. It tells us that Godzilla was discovered in 1954, and all those nuclear tests back then were not really tests at all, they were trying to kill him. Of course, this is Godzilla we're talking about, so he should just shrug it off and absorb the radiation energy. Now, 60 years later, for reasons still unknown, he returned to wreck havoc on mankind again. Based on the narration by Brian Cranston, I can assume that there is some government official trying to keep Godzilla a secret, so the public doesn't panic. But Cranston isn't having any of it, and he knows that Godzilla's return isn't an accident. Looks like Brian Cranston isn't f#%king around, even with an irradiated lizard kaiju running around.

So, this trailer sets the tone better than the last trailer, and it looks like it's going to be intense, suspenseful, and with tons of destruction. I can't wait.
