The Amazing Spider-Man 2012 review

Some see this as just a move by Sony to keep the rights to Spider-Man. I see it as a way to keep one of my favorite superheroes out of the Avengers… but I still liked this movie.

IDW Godzilla comics pt 2: Countdown to Godzilla's Return #28

This time, I’m reviewing the IDW Godzilla comics that aren’t part of their main series, this includes Legends, as well as Half Century War.

Godzilla: IDW Comics review: Countdown to Godzilla's Return #27

In 2011, the comicbook publishing company known as IDW released their first Godzilla series, called Kingdom of Monsters. I don’t follow IDW that much, but I do like their Transformers comics. So, naturally, I was curious to see what this was like. For your information, this is my first time reviewing comicbooks, so bear with me.

Godzilla Video Games (Save the Earth and Unleashed) Countdown to Godzilla's Return #26

Although Godzilla was gone from cinema, he continued his legacy through video games, and later a comicbook series. For right now, I’ll just review the video games that were released during his decade long rest… all 2 of them.

Godzilla: Final Wars: Countdown to Godzilla's Return #25

Released in 2004, was the last Godzilla movie made until a decade later, in 2014, Godzilla: Final Wars.

Tokyo SOS: Countdown to Godzilla's Return #24

Finally! A direct sequel in a series of reboots! And this one is awesome. Yeah, I know. Awesome is an overused word. Too bad the conclusion of this epic story is ruined with bad dubbing. It’s the only way I could get ahold of this movie.

Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla: Countdown to Godzilla's Return #23

This is yet again another reboot to the Millenium series, but this time it reintroduces one of my favorite Godzilla enemies, Mechagodzilla.

GMK: Countdown to Godzilla's Return #22

The full title for this one is “Godzilla, Mothra, and King Ghidorah, Giant Monsters All Out Attack”! Someone went a little crazy with the title, didn’t they?

Godzilla vs Megaguirus: Countdown to Godzilla's Return #21

We already know Godzilla is super strong… but I didn’t think he’d be able to withstand a BLACK HOLE!!!

Godzilla 2000: Countdown to Godzilla's Return #20

Godzilla 2000 was the start of the Millenium series, and it can be presumed that it ignores all films before it except for the original. No references to this being the kid of the Heisei Godzilla were made.

Godzilla 1998: Countdown to Godzilla's Return #19

Oh… why, TriStar? With all the time you had to make this, you could have put in a lot more effort than this.

Godzilla vs Spacegodzilla: Countdown to Godzilla's Return #17

Continuing the Heisei series, it’s Godzilla vs… Spacegodzilla? Wow. Really creative with the name there, Toho.

Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla 2: Countdown to Godzilla's Return #16

Continuing with our countdown, we have the reintroduction of Mechagodzilla, as well as Rodan and Godzilla’s son. Funny thing about this movie is that it was made the same year Jurassic Park came out. Toho must have been humiliated with their quality of special effects compared to JP’s.

Thor: The Dark World review

A Marvel movie is something I haven’t reviewed in a while. Since Captain America: The Winter Soldier is coming out on the 4th, this Friday, I thought I should go over the previous phase 2 Avengers installment before its release. I do plan on seeing Captain America on its release date, so expect a review either the day of, or the day after it comes out.

Godzilla vs Mothra (1992): Countdown to Godzilla's Return #15

By this point, Toho decided to start remaking their classic kaiju. It started with King Ghidorah, and it continued with Mothra… and her long lost psychotic brother named Battra.
