Mortal Kombat (1995) movie review

Not only is this a movie based on a video game, but it’s a movie based on a video game made in the 1990’s. Let that sink in.

Fant4stic (2015) movie review by a friend

I’m sure by now you’ve heard how much of a failure the most recent Fantastic 4 has been, in both box office performance and critically. Well, I have yet to subject myself to this movie... but my best friend has! He called me after he got out of a screening and was crying hysterically. Apparently, it was so much worse than what I’ve heard anyone else say so far. So, I’m going to let him write this review. The whole thing, besides this intro, will be his writing. If it looks like it was written with nothing but unbridled rage, that’s because it was.

Son of Kong (1933) "movie" review

I’m almost positive that most people reading this didn’t know that this movie existed. You’ll wish you hadn’t heard of it. You’ll wish it was never made. It is a candidate for one of the worst sequels ever put to film. Worse than the straight to video Disney sequels.

Monsters: Dark Continent (2014) movie review

Earth VS the Flying Saucers (1956)

It’s been a while since I reviewed a 1950’s scifi movie, and what better way to get back to it than with a classic like Earth VS the Flying Saucers?

Divergent (2014) movie review

This is a story about a teenage girl trying to overcome her oppressive, corrupt government that tries to control everybody, and the only one she truly trusts is her boyfriend. So basically, its Hunger Games, but without any games…. unless you count those ‘faction test’ things as the stand in.
