This most recent adaptation of The Jungle Book is Disney’s live action retelling of their 1967 animated classic, directed by Jon Favreau. It stars the voice talents of Bill Murray, Ben Kingsley, Lupita Nyong'o, Idris Elba, Christopher Walken, Scarlett Johansson and starring as the only live action character of the whole film, the young Neel Sethi as Mowgli.
I am a reviewer (not professional in the slightest) that gives an honest opinion on movies of all kinds that I happen to see. I review new releases as well as older films, and I try my best to post regularly. I love films and I love reviewing them, and I do this for fun. I hope any readers have fun reading my reviews as well!

Citizen Kane (1941) movie review
Citizen Kane, directed and written by Orson Welles, is widely considered to be the best film ever made in the history of cinema. I have recently viewed this legendary masterpiece myself, as it is a sort of 'rite of passage' for all film lovers. And what did I, a humble internet reviewer whose opinion clearly doesn't matter when faced with such a glorious piece of human accomplishment, think of it? Well...

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) movie review
For the first time in cinematic history, two of the most iconic superheroes of all time appear on the big screen together… Batman and Superman, sharing the spotlight at last. And apparently Wonder Woman is sharing it with them. Along with the Flash. And Aquaman and Cyborg for a few seconds. And Doomsday. Yeah… this movie’s pretty cluttered.

Batman (1989) movie review
Before Christopher Nolan took the story of a man that dressed up as a bat to fight bad guys and turned it into a philosophical crime drama, Tim Burton was at the helm of the first serious attempt at a theatrical Batman film. This is the first in a series of four films that lasted all the way to 1997. This is simply titled: Batman.

Zootopia (2016) movie review
I’ve seen people and critics saying all over the internet that Zootopia is the “best Disney animated movie since The Lion King”. I, however, disagree. I personally think that it’s leaps and bounds better than The Lion King ever was!

Cloverfield (2008) movie review
Going into this film, I thought it was going to be a stupid, boring cash-in on the found footage subgenre. I was pleasantly surprised to find myself being very, very wrong. This is Cloverfield.

Gods of Egypt (2016) movie review
Well… this was definitely an experience. I mean… wow. This is the most beautifully crafted train wreck ever conceived by human or godly hands. This is Whites of Egypt- I mean, Gods of Whiteness- I mean… Gods of Egypt. Yes.

Dinotopia (2002) TV miniseries review
Oh, Hallmark Channel shows, how I love to hate thee most of the time. Out of all the Hallmark’s scifi and/or fantasy series (which is only a few), Dinotopia is the only one I actually enjoyed.

Ex Machina (2015) SPOILER FREE movie review
Movies like The Terminator made the concept of artificial intelligence cool, brutal, and somewhat scary, while warning us of the danger they could pose. However, Ex Machina presents AI as more… mysterious. Unpredictable. Oddly Sympathetic. And above all… sexy. And that is truly the most terrifying part.

Birdman (2014) movie review
Birdman is directed by Alejandro Inarritu and stars Michael Keaton, Edward Norton, Emma Stone, and many other A-list actors. It won the Academy Award for Best Picture for 2014, and I only recently saw it for myself (since it’s Oscar season and all). Is it really deserving of such a high honor like all the ‘top critics’ and the Academy says it is?

Deadpool (2016) movie review
I know that by the time I post this review, we’re only a little over two months into 2016… but I genuinely think that this is the best movie to come out so far, and may even be one of the best movies of the year! This is Deadpool!

Hail, Caesar! (2016) movie review
The latest film by the Coen Brothers stars Josh Brolin, George Clooney, and a whole slew of great and talented actors in a grand tribute to 1950’s Hollywood. This is Hail, Caesar!

Kung Fu Panda 3 (2016) movie review
Kung Fu Panda 3 is the latest installment of Dreamworks’ Kung Fu Panda franchise, and once again, I am pleasantly surprised at how good it actually was.

Gladiator (2000) movie review
I apologize for the little hiatus throughout the month. But I am back and ready to get into reviewing movies (and more) on a regular schedule. Reviews will be coming every Monday and Friday and/or Saturday. Here, we’re going to take a look at yet another movie that makes me tear up more than once. I’m seeing a lot of those kinds of films recently, aren’t I? This is Ridley Scott’s Gladiator.
