This is the infamous X-Men installment. It’s the one that most fans and mainstream moviegoers want to forget ever happened. It’s almost universally hated by both fans, critics, and audiences alike. I heard it was horrible! An abomination! Well, I finally saw it for myself. And it IS….…….. okay. WARNING: Spoilers in this review. The film has been out since 2006. If you’re like me and haven’t seen all the X-Men movies yet, then you’ve been warned.

The first X-Men was a pretty good movie. It still holds up rather well after all these years. But X2: X-Men United…. is superior in every way, shape, and form imaginable.

I’ve never seen any of them before now, but from what I’ve heard, they’re a pretty popular film series. The Dinosaur Project is a British sci-fi film about a team of explorers who go to the Congo to search for - what else? - dinosaurs. I just happened to stumble across this on Netflix one day, and thought “I’ll check this out.” What Netflix didn’t tell me was that this was a found footage style movie. That would’ve been nice to know. Would’ve spared me the boredom and regret for wasting my time.

2014- Year Overview + Top 5 Films of 2014

Today, January 7th, 2015, is the 1 year mark for this blog. I found it fitting that the overview for the last year be on this day. Let’s take a look back on the blog’s first year, and 2014 in general.

The Year is Almost Over...

That's right. The year is about done. And for just starting out back in January of 2014, I can safely say that I have made decent progress. I have a Facebook page with 30 likes/followers/whatever, and I've posted about 80 reviews. That's progress to me. I won't be posting for the remainder of 2014, but I will get back to posts on the 7th of January, which is the 1 year mark for this blog. On that day, there will be one big post concerning my 5 favorite movies of the 2014, as well as the first year overview. Be sure to come back to check it out on January 7th. As for now, I hope you all have a good holiday season, merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or whatever else you celebrate around this time of year.
