The Year is Almost Over...

That's right. The year is about done. And for just starting out back in January of 2014, I can safely say that I have made decent progress. I have a Facebook page with 30 likes/followers/whatever, and I've posted about 80 reviews. That's progress to me. I won't be posting for the remainder of 2014, but I will get back to posts on the 7th of January, which is the 1 year mark for this blog. On that day, there will be one big post concerning my 5 favorite movies of the 2014, as well as the first year overview. Be sure to come back to check it out on January 7th. As for now, I hope you all have a good holiday season, merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or whatever else you celebrate around this time of year.

Well…. it’s the end of an adventure. An adventure that started back in December 2012, with An Unexpected Journey. It is the absolute best multi movie adventure I’ve had the fortune of experiencing in theaters.

Hercules: Dwayne Johnson Edition (2014) movie review

As you can no doubt tell from the title of this review, I like to call this Hercules movie the ‘Dwayne Johnson Edition’. That’s so it’s easier for people to differentiate it from the other Hercules movie that came out back in January, which was horrendous. Believe it or not, people do have a hard time telling the two apart. But anyway, it’s time to review this. Just a couple months late.

Primeval (2007-2011) series review

A British sci-fi series about time travel…. except this series doesn’t screw with your head as much. And it has more dinosaurs, so that’s a plus. For those who haven’t seen it, this will be a non-spoiler review. Or as non-spoiler as I can make it.

I have a feeling that starting this weekend, movies are going to be getting good again. The year hit a dry spot at the end of August, and there hasn’t been much worth checking out. Even this blog has been affected by it. But now, it looks like it’s getting about time for theaters to be filled again… starting with Big Hero 6.
